The Canon EOS 1D X Digital SLR is the next generation of Canon's professional range which sits above the 1D Mk IV and 1Ds Mk III, offering a combination of speed, resolution and outstanding image quality. The 1D X presents a new 18.1MP full-frame CMOS sensor, a redesigned autofocus (AF) system and powerful new metering technology with 3 DIGIC processors, including 2 DIGIC 5+ image processors and a dedicated DIGIC 4 for metering and AF control to ensure correct exposure levels and improved AF tracking. The dual processors enable full-resolution continuous shooting of up to 12 frames per second (RAW) plus 14 frames per second in High Speed mode (18MP JPEG). The 1D X is equipped with an incredible 61-point wide-area autofocus system with 41 sensitive cross-type sensors, including five dual cross type points, to ensure unsurpassed accuracy and higher levels of speed. The standard ISO range of the 1D X is 100-51,200, expandable up to an impressive 204,800.
